I Love amaryllis and I get them pretty much year round from Holland. Even though they are an obvious choice for Christmas or Holiday weddings in whites and reds, they come in beautiful coral shades as well. Here I paired them with some traditional roses, hypericum and trachelium and some more exotic touches of succulents, uluhe fern curls and my new favorite these mini cucumbers! The mercury glass is a great accent to a variety of venues in Charleston. Mercury glass has been popular for awhile now and because of it’s versatility I do not see that trend letting up. The flowers can be classic and elegant or a little more rustic and earthy. Do you like the way we used succulents and mini cucumbers in these arrangements? Do you plan on using mercury glass at your wedding reception? What other containers do you think these arrangements would look great in? Christmas can be a great time to stock up on mercury glass for use in your home or events year round.
