The heat didn’t take anything away from Kristy and Tim’s Charleston wedding at The Grand Pavilion at Wild Dunes Resort. It was a beautiful seaside affair ending in a cool blue poolside reception. Or did it end there? Kristy and Tim didn’t just have a wedding and a reception. They had a five day celebration filled with Charleston based fun. Some of the local cuisine enjoyed included Isle of Palm’s oceanfront Coconut Joe’s, Shem Creek’s Red’s Ice House, and the famous Taco Boy. Kristy and Tim’s guests also enjoyed some well known Charleston activities, such as, a Brews Cruise, a trip to the Old City Market, a tour of Patriot’s Point and a Harbor and Carriage tour. Kristy and Tim’s wedding festivities were planned and coordinated by Sweetgrass Social. A very fun filled couple of days I would say. Kristy and Tim’s floral choices were simple yet stunning and captured the true essence of southern beauty. Linens were provided by Eventworks and along with the florals, the custom monogrammed handkerchief that was wrapped around the Bride’s bouquet was provided by WildFlowers, Inc.
