Charleston’s Magnolia Plantaion attracts many destination brides. The gardens at Magnolia Plantation are of such beauty and variety. Some sections more than 325 years old, making them the oldest unrestored gardens in America. There are varieties of flowers from camellias, daffodils, to azalea’s and countless other species in bloom year round, with the climax of incredible beauty building towards the spring bloom.. With spectacular views of the Ashley River, the historic Carriage House (c. 1840) is surrounded by ancient Live Oaks, sweeping lawns, and beautiful torches that line the river bank. No image is more iconic of the South than giant oaks and dripping spanish moss. Magnolia plantation has more than their fair share Many of the brides we work with are in love with the spanish moss and we often incorporate the moss into some aspect of the wedding or floral design
Mariah chose deep purples for her color scheme and we contrasted it beautifully and boldly with all orange florals and touches of orange uplighting. The sublime wedding was orchestrated by the fabulous Francesca of Pure Luxe Bride.
