Here’s the continuation of Allison & Micheal’s wedding at the Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation as shared by Leigh Webber Photography.
For Allison’s flowers we used an abundance of seasonal florals in shades of pink and whites to include peonies, hydrangea, gerbera daisies, snapdragons, ranunculus, larkspur and more. Spanish moss was nestled everywhere as well as hanging from the wagon wheel light fixtures of the carriage house. (Thanks to Vince, he’s become a pro at that!) We used a combination of milk glass and white glass vases as our containers. To bring the outdoors in we added manzanita branches to the centerpieces and had lots of candles for ambiance.
Additionally I’d like to give a shout out to Molly at d’lish for the cake. Her cakes always taste as perfect as they look! She is also such a pleasure to work with.
Magnolia Plantation Reception: Allison & Michael
June 13, 2012
Yesterday we got to enjoy Allison & Michael’s ceremony and today we celebrate their wedding reception at Magnolia Plantation!
Guests arrived to refreshing sweet tea vodka and lemonade specialty cocktails to sip as they enjoyed the view of oaks laden with Spanish moss along the Ashley River. A seated dinner followed in the carriage house followed by a very memorable toast by one of the groomsmen. It’s moments like these that remind me of what the important things in life are: friends and family.
The evening was full of music by Joe Clarke’s Big Band and dancing took place under the tent. Especially popular were the bourbon bar and lay rolling cigars for the guests.
I love this photos of these two. Such a classic shot.
Mmmm…. who’s going to say “no” to this tasty beverage?
Gazpacho shooters and monogrammed napkins. Delish!

I love all the photos of these two because they are such sweet people. Every time I see them I smile.
Their custom monogram carried throughout the wedding.
I’m not sure where the tradition of clinking your wine glass to get the newlyweds to kiss began, but I like it!
…just in case anyone even thought about sitting here.
One of the wonderful things about an outdoor reception with a fire pit is s’mores! Look at how pretty the presentation is thanks to Kelley Cannon Events!
Ok, so this was one of those moments where as a parent, I about melted. They had only met at the wedding and here they are breaking hearts.
Did I mention there was dancing? The Joe Clarke Big Band is no joke!

One of the many little touches incorporated into their wedding reception was a bourbon bar. I am positive that no one was disappointed. This was next to the cigar roller making custom cigars.
Gifts to the guests were homemade jars of pepper relish made by one of Allison’s friends. They thought of everything!
The big sparkler send off!
Congratulations!!!
