Thank you to the*reason for the amazing images of Bonnie & Matt’s wedding at Old Wide Awake Plantation.
Cotton branches, cotton bolls and raw cotton lined the aisle.
For wedding flowers we use lots of cotton bolls, succulents (echeveria- some were blooming), dusty miller, yellow craspedia (Billy balls), seeded eucalyptus, yellow button mums and privet berries.
We used a variety of wooden & birch containers as well as mason jars and medicine bottles.
Here’s more info about the featured bouquet: Cotton and Southern Weddings go hand in hand. Integrating Succulents with Wedding Flowers seems to be a trend that is holding strong. This beautiful bouquet has the best of both worlds. Fluffy white cotton bolls, green and grey echievera succulents and yellow craspedia “Billy Balls” make a soft, romantic and vintage feeling wedding bouquet.
I love it! I am a Navy Vet and now I run a Raw Cotton company!
We have RAW COTTON Bolls! In fact, that is all we do!
We love this! Both the Floral Cotton and the Sailor! Both of our owners are Navy Vets! We always have cotton bolls, burrs, stalks and more available!
